Michaela Farley: Reunited and it feels so good!! Back in Haiti for the second time. After having 15 minutes of sleep before heading to the airport in Detroit we had hours of layovers before arriving in Port au Prince. Time well spent eating ice cream and hamburgers. So happy to be sitting outside with great friends drinking Prestige again. We will head up the mountain tomorrow and settle in. And exciting news because this will be the first birthday of mine spent out of the country, Sunday June 9!!
Maureen Pawloski: Am really here. First time in Haiti. I think it was meant to be. My first night, cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store. Sitting out on the porch of the Mission. Warm but nice breeze. Thanks, Joann for leading me here…was only a thought for so long.
Kyle Ramthun: I finally landed in Haiti. It’s my first trip, and I’m thrilled to finally be here. I’ve heard extraordinary things about the trip, and I’m praying for God to strengthen us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We have innumerable things to be thankful for. Joshua 1:9. I’m entering with a servant heart, but I know there is just as much for me to learn.
Kelly Ryan: My fourth trip to Haiti has started off uneventfully for the most part … except for the barking dogs and honking horns that seem to be endless. After the trip in January I’m very excited to get to Seguin to be with the people there. I can feel prayers that I know are being sent constantly, and they really do help. Tomorrow will be a challenge, but I believe that with God by my side I can get through anything. I’m just so happy to be here. Haiti is my favorite place in the whole world!
