Tim Ryan The team of 14 from the USA combined with the Haiti members of our team filled out the team to 21 members. During the 4 days of clinic both teams were able to treat approximately 2,000 people in Seguin. This mission trip was far different from past trips with the loss of our friends always on our minds and how we would handle this loss for the first trip back to Haiti. Our first test was arriving to the accident site where we were greeted with a 6 ft. monument built in the memory of Matt, Mary, Jim, and Rita. This was a powerful moment, and we could feel the healing of this event come over all of us. There were wonderful memories of our friends throughout the week in which we sensed they were with us every step of the way. The week was made easier knowing that the people of Holy Spirit Parish and others kept us in their thoughts and prayers for the past 6 months and during the trip. HS Parish has suffered a great loss but has shown through a tragedy to be a strong Parish Family that came together and became a stronger community through this loss.
